Huntington is on the Paper Trail

Welcome to this month's edition of the Paper Trail Blog Hop! If you have arrived here from Connie's blog, you are on the right track. As always, however, the blog hop is circular, so you can start and end anywhere!

This month, let me introduce you to the warm, autumn colors of the Huntington paper collection. Interestingly enough, while we often consider such colors as Autumn Terracotta, Barn Red, Desert Sand, and Olive to be typical fall colors, this paper collection is beautifully woven with two grays, Slate and Whisper. These grays bring a certain distinction and depth to the color combination. I just love it!

Made with the September Stamp of the Month, Poster Tidings, this card showcases one of those grays. You can see the difference it makes when used in combination with the more traditional autumn colors. Another interesting fact to note is that the small wooden embellishments on the card are actually part of the Sarita Assortment.  While the assortment is designed to coordinate with the Sarita papers, it is a perfect example of how easily you can mix and match all of the fun little goodies we use in our creations!

The next set of cards is an example of how quick and easy it can be to make a selection of thank you cards with the Huntington paper. Notice how the placement of the paper pieces is reversed in each card, making each one of the pair look quite different.  The cards are simply embellished with Durable Square Studs and Irresistible Hexagons. In addition, all of the paper pieces have been sponged with Desert Sand ink.

I will share the remaining cards in the set later in the month so that some of them will still be a surprise to my team members. (Shhh... if you are one of my CTMH team members, "mum's the word" as this is part of one of the sets of cards that you will be creating at our team training "stamp camps"!!! I think you will love them!)

Thanks for visiting and do come back soon. Now head on over to Amy's blog to see what she has to offer. Enjoy!
